Nike states that the 2012 European jerseys are safe

Following the news that the European Bureau of Consumer Associations (BEUC) warned that nine of official Euro 2012  t-shirts are toxic, Nike said in a statement that clarifies their football jerseys meet all the requirements.

"The results of the tests recently conducted by the Organization of Consumers and Users [OCU] confirm that Nike football jerseys tested (eg France, the Netherlands, Poland and Portugal) fully comply with all national and EU requirements, including European REACH Regulations . Consumers who want to show their pride in their national teams can wear jersey with confidence, "said the statement from Nike.
